Urgent support

If you are in crisis

I’m not able to provide emergency or crisis support, and my messages and enquiry form are not monitored around the clock. If you need help now, please contact one of the services below. You don’t have to wait until things feel “bad enough”.

Emergency help

If you feel suicidal, could harm yourself or someone else, or your life is at risk:

  • Call 999 (UK), or go to your nearest A&E.
  • Outside the UK, call your local emergency number: 112 across Europe, 911 in the US and Canada.

Urgent, but not an emergency

  • Call NHS 111 and select the mental health option. Free, 24 hours a day. You can also use 111.nhs.uk.
  • Contact your GP and ask for an urgent appointment.
  • If you are already supported by a mental health team, follow your care plan or contact your care co-ordinator or the duty worker.
